Where can I find a quaint reception site for less than 50pp

Does anyone know of a reception site where we can also have the ceremony and also has outdoorsy, cozy, environment but is less than $50/person? I have been engaged for 1 week, and originally thought that since we are on a small budget and will probably only invite 50-75 ppl, that a backyard wedding would be nice. It will be real simple, (simple dress, flowers, homemade centerpieces etc.). However, after talking to people and seeing posts, I realize a backyard wedding is a lot of work.

I know a few people have suggested Beach Club on Ronkonkoma -- it's nice for small weddings. Not sure of the price. Also if you check out the local Long Island Weddings Magazines they have a breakdown of reception sites by cost and location.

What about George Washington Manor? It's located in Roslyn, and it's an old, cozy, historical home. They have a larger room for weddings, but I would think the guarantee is more than 50 people. However, they also have a few smaller rooms upstairs. I'm not exactly sure of the price, but one of the smaller rooms would be less $$ pp.

Our reception is at the Holbrook Country Club. It's more than $50pp though. We're paying $60.00pp. You can get married out by the gazebo. We're having anywhere from 75-100 people. Let me know if you have any other questions.

We used the Beach Club and it was $49.95 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) for a Sunday afternoon in September. We had 75 people and it was the perfect size. I don't know what your budget is but we did absolutely everything for less than $12,000. We could have done it for less but splurged on a few extras (the flowers for one!!)

Where can I find a quaint reception site for less than 50pp

We looked at the George Washington Manor on Sunday. The food was fabulous at their Sunday brunch. They showed us the smaller room, as we also will have 50-65 people. We felt it was too small after seeing it. The larger room is pretty. There is also a quaint chapel around the back. The price we were quoted was $100-120pp by the maitreD` as the reception coordinator was busy. We are going with the Coral house. They have a few smaller rooms to choose from, and their price is by the size of the room. Seems fair since it is less work for them (waiters, bartenders, etc) for a smaller wedding, so paying the same price as a larger wedding doesn't make sense. Hope this helps:-) Diana

I called the Beach Club, and they said it is $59.95 off-season (January). I guess they raised the prices.
