i would really rather go to a store than order it online - i tried ac moore but they only sell packages of multi-colored cardstock, and single sheets are too expensive.

Have your tried Michaels, or even a local party store.
Sometimes card stores even carry that stuff. There is also a store called paper source I knew of in boston not sure if any located on Long Island.

The single sheets are going to be more expensive.
You can get reams of colored card stock at an office supply store, but most likey it won't be textured.
Neenah Paper is online - but they will send you samples - you pay S&H

yeah, it kind of depends whether you want fancy card stock or run of the mill card stock. you can buy colored card stock at staples, etc but I don't know how nice it is. depends what you're using it for.

LMAO that is tooo funny... we had a rottie before him, and i know that is EXACTLY what he would have thought if we had brought our kitty home! 'ohh that looks like a yummy orange snack!'

have you tried office max? I got ivory cardstock there for our DIY menus, and they had some other colors also. It was $9.99 for 250 sheets of 97lb cardstock (and it was only about $2 to have it cut into 4x10.5 menus).

I got card stock in Staples. They have multi color there, but they are bright colors like bright blue, pink, and green.
