Where can I find guidelines for pain and suffering, mental anguish and humiliation ?

I am trying to do this research myself so I know what numbers I should ask for, since I do not have a lawyer involved. I have no idea what I am doing and what to even ask for. Does anyone know any websites that could help me with this?

hmmm no sorry. But I do know that different counties have caps on what you can sue for. Nassau is lower than the city.

sorry,i have no idea, but maybe you can find someone who (actually is an attorney or maybe studying to be one) who can offer legal services, evenif its only to answer questions fo ryou on craisglist?

def ask an attorney or def a lawyer in training...lol.

I know what i said applies to accidents but a lawyer mentioned that there are caps on what the judges can really award you.
