Where can I find nice wedding favors? (P.S. I'm Italian!)
Italian are crazy when it comes to favors, so I can't skimp out on $5 favors. (as crazy as that sounds). I have been to dozen of favor shops and looked everywhere online, but can't find a nice store with elegant gifts. I am willing to go to NYC if I have to. Any suggestions? Thanks

we did bottles of wine...half red and half white...it was a BIG hit

thanks for your recommendations! Really helpful. There really isn't a theme per sei, but the colors are black, white and rose. I would like a nice silver plated picture frame or candy dish, but that gets so pricey.

Coming from a crazy italian family myself, I have opted for either something they can drink or eat!!! I will either be doing bottles of champagne or gourmet candied apples.

OMG im in the same boat!!!! Its hard to find NICE favors! I feel like alot of things these favor places has to offer are cheap looking. I went to Italy over the summer and FH and I went to a few favor shops (bonbonieri shops lol) and they had the nicest blown glass candy dishes. I inquired about them do my favors, but she was like hunnie there is no way it could even happen with our mail system! We italians make great things but are lazy!!!

They have been in business FOR YEARS and the woman is wionderful! She has so many different bonbonieres and for good prices!!
I ordered 150 pieces for $7.50 each. Here is what I got!
She has pretty much all types of Lenox, D'Lusso, Mikasa, etc...
You will definitely find something. if not, there are a TON of other shops nearby and if you are interested Ill give you their info too!

since jordan almonds r a tradtion why not find a cute box and put some in?or how bout a cannoli?or a cd of italian singers?or maybe use any other favor but decorate them with the italian flag colors?

I only know of places in Queens, my family has ordered from both markella in astoria and la confetteria del cuore in whitetsone....they both have a great selection and prices are good too...I would check them out.

I used Fox's Gift Shop on Northern Blvd in Flushing, they have a big selection and they wrap everything too in the price :)

They have really nice black satin mini photo albums that double as placecards...i just ordered a sample to check out the quality.. and they are under $2 each!!!

Italians will get a kick out of bottles of wine. You can do one per family and buy a cheaper wine.
If you are Italian, make sure you don't forget the almonds.....they will freak out if you do!!!!!!!
My mom is making me attach them so my bottles of home made wine... uggggggh
