Hi Gals,

This weekend was a disaster with 3 of my BM's trying to find dress samples to fit them. we went to 2 store and all the samples are size 10-14. My MOH is a size 20 and the other 2 girls were squeezing into the other sizes to see what they like. (they couldn't even zip up their dresses) Needless to say no one liked anything because nothing fit right and the dresses i had in mind for them the store didn't have. Someone said i should check out David's, but are there other stores that have large samples???

I have one plus size BM and I didn't want to embaress her by making her sqeeze into a dress.

I'm allowing all my girls to get all different dresses-same color, same fabric. It makes it easier on everyone.

nope no where to go... my sister is my MOH and the only adult female in my bp so I want her to look great and be happy... we only found dresses that fit at David's and I called everywhere and we went a lot of places which made her upset.

I've heard that Magic Moments in Port Jeff has larger sized samples, but I haven't had a chance to get out there yet to scope it out.

Ann Taylor Celebrations has 18's in stock.

I'm tall and a size 14, I tried on a few Jim Heljm size 12 sample dresses and wanted to DIE of shame...it's a horrible feeling.

For this reason I am allowing my girls to choose their dresses so long as the fabric matches and the color is close.

Edited to add that Ann Taylor's dresses are true to size- whatever you normally wear will fit.
