I really want a BIG poofy ballgown!! If I could have a basque waste and a strapless or spaghetti strap dress also I would be thrilled! I just cant seem to find BIG BAllgown dresses. theyre all princess! Any local ideas? I live in Medford (suffolk)

Check out Sweetnessconfused's wedding gown---it was very 'ball-gownish'---beautiful!!! Not sure who made it though...she only says that she bought it at Bridal Reflections...so maybe if you FM her--she'll let you know
Good luck--I'll keep my eyes open for you. Also, Eve of Milady's Spring 2005 collection has few ballgowns---if you check out the website; Eve trunk show dates/places you may find what you're looking for at one of the shows.

Did you try David's...if you're on a budget that might be the place to go! I would also just try local bridal salons...they might sell samples if you ask them!
