They are not for Place Cards but for the scratch off lotto tickets we are doing ...heres a pic stolen from FeliciaDA's wedding to show what I mean. I want to put them on the table this way but cant see paying $100-$200 for them ( would need 125-150) ...anyone see any REAL cheap (design doesnt matter as long as they arent like seashells or something that would clash..)
ALSO..any idea how I could MAKE something to display them this way?

yes tried E-bay..keep looking everyday..the problem with e-bay is I cant get ENOUGh, the lots are all like 50-60 of them.
Cheap as is like spending no more then $75...like a clearance sale Im hopeing for!!
Im afraid felicia will say she spent a lot..lol...

You could probably make the labels yourself and buy the glassine envelopes sep. You could buy little wedding bells at walmart like $5.oo for a box of 24 (more expensive at Michaels) and attach them to the envelope with ribbon.

oh..I dont mean those..I have the labels and the envelopes already.
All I am looking for is the actual placecard holders to put them in on the table.

I tried doing this for placecards for my Eng. party they came out pretty nice. I could fm you directions if you want? Do you know what kind of bells I'm talking about?

why dont you contact the people on ebay that are selling them and ask if they have X amount? or buy 2 or 3 different kinds and mix them up. Honeslty if you put them on different tables no one will notice anyway
Dont laugh at me but what if you punch a hole in the top of the little bag and run some ribbon though.. and have them tie it around there glass??

Donna -- I tried to cut corners in the little things here and there where I could when it came to our wedding! Trust me when I say that I did NOT spend a lot for those placecard holders that I used for the scratch-offs. They were the silver bells, in case you cannot tell from the pic
I got those bell placecard holders on Ebay. Darn I wish I could remember the name of the vendor (I'll try to do a search for you and FM ya). They were quite inexpensive. And to dress them up we just tied the little name ribbons around them, and made the envelopes with the personalized labels ourselves.
We actually gave one scratch off per person, and since we had a small wedding we only needed about 90 of them.
but I also LOVE Maxine's last suggestion... she always comes up with the good stuff
