Six months to go before the big day, and I still need invitations besides other things. Can anyone recommend a good place to get invitations? Plus How much did you spend on invitations?

Jean M. You can order on-line, phone, and catalog. They have nice styles and you can pick the colors that fit your wedding theme. They are wonderful. We got our wedding invitations and other this and that's for our wedding from them.

I went to 'Knot to be Forgotten' in Franklin Square I spent aprox $600 I think. That included the invitations, RSVP, Reception card, Inner envelop, Outer envelope AND all the calligraphy.

We got ours from Invitation Station in Deer Park. They cost us about $250 and we got them in less than 2 weeks

I got mine here also. I actually ordered them last Saturday and I picked them on on Friday....6 DAYS LATER!!!!!!!!
Cathy is amazingly nice and helpful and her invites are 20% off. Mine were $300 for $150 invites, self adhesive envelopes and extra envelopes. She will definitely work with you to find something in your budget. (she's also a LIW vendor.)
