I haven't been to any craft stores in a while but I get a lot of my stuff for scrapbooking at a.c.moore..have you tried any of those chain stores like a.c.moore, michaels or joannes?

Pearl has a nice selection of paper in different colors or weights,
Or if you go into NYC, I think Paper Presentation has a lot

We got our engagement invites from kinkos. We were very happy with the printing because you don't have to worry about the ink running. I would check out places like kinkos or staples. I can't remember if they had shiny card stock but it is worth a try. I had a friend print her invites on her computer using cardstock and the ink bled on the invite I received.
