Where can I get ribbon that can be worn as a waist sash?

I was thinking Michaels but can they cut the ribbon so it looks nice? Or should i be going to fabric like store???

what do you mean to cut it nice? so it doesn't fray you mean? Go to Joann's they alot of stuff.. perhaps you can use that some iron on glue patches and fold over the ends and iron them so they don't fray?

If you run a lighter quickly along the ends of the ribbon it will seal it so it won't fray. You have to do it VERY quickly, otherwise it will burn.

(I used to do that to my ballet slipper ribbons )

Really expensive but gorgeous.

Then you need to hem the edges so it doesnt fray. If you cant do it, a tailor can do it very easily.

I saw that in a magazine the other day. You cut the ribbon twice the legth of your waste, then trim if necessary.

Try any craft, or fabric store and see how you thick you find to suite your taste, pants/outfit.

You can always make a small hem when you are done, so it won't fray.

Thanks for your help girls!

The BM dresses my girls are getting has a ribbon sash...I want to get my own ribbon in a different color and width. So I am trying to figure out where to go.
