Where can I go for a dead sea salt scrub??

Where can I go for a dead sea salt scrub??

any spa recommendations that do this? My friend did this for her wedding and she looked great!

i have been to rain day spa in woodbury for facials and i really enjoyed it there, they probably do body scrubs too.

Maximus Spa at the Source Mall in Westbury has this thing called a Water Jorney and it is awesome. You sit in a hydrotherapy tub for a while then lie on a table and get a sea salt scrub and then there are water jets above that wash you off and then you go into a room where there is like a waterfall and you go under the water and it is so relaxing. My sister works there and got me a spa day as a gift and oh man I was jello afterward and my skin was glowing.

I have never gotten a dead sea salt scrub. What does it do? Exfoliate? That Maximus one sounds awesome! Can you get an allergic reaction from this?

I think there are aromatherapy oils in there to sooth and soften the skin so there is always a chance to be allergic but I have extremely sensitive skin and I was perfectly fine. My sister is a massage therapist there. She is awesome. The 4 years she was in school she had to practce on my mom and me every weekend

Yes it exfoliates the skin and removes the dead skin cells on top of the skin and lets the new ones come through.

i have gotten it done three times- once at the wellness center in babylon, and twice at the oasis on park spa in the city. its amazing

The Heath & Wellness Center in Babylon

It was different! Considering I've never gotten a massage, facial or scrub before. FH got me the Pass to Paradise there. It was awesome!^

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies!

I booked my appt. at the Dorit Baxter salon in the city. NY Magazine rated it the best 'dead sea salt scrub'
