There is a bridal shoe store on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook. It is right across the street from Lynbrook Bridal Shop. I don't remember the name of the store but they have a great selection, at great prices and they are very very comfortable. Jen, if you want I can post the name of the shop tonight when I get home.

If I remember correctly (I brought shoes in there for my BFs wedding last Feb.) they did have silver shoes and also white ones that they will dye for free. Also after the wedding (if the girls want), they will dye the shoes black at no extra charge. I will FM you the information about the shop tonight.

Jenn you're in Queens, right? There's a place called Marty's shoes on Myrtle in Ridgewood. I got my own shoes there! BUT, not sure if they are all silver... are your girls buying dyeables? if so, they have tons of those!

I was in a wedding this past summer and had to get silver shoes and the Lord & Taylor in the city had a HUGE selection....

I bought shoes from there last year for my brothers wedding (the place in Lynbrook). I got the dyable ones and then they dyed them black for me. They were very nice. I don't remember if they had silver. I forget the name too

I went nuts looking for nice silver shoes last years for my brother's wedding. I didn't want them dyed for fear I would wind up with tin man silver shoes. I found the best selection at Lord and Taylor...but as it got closer to the spring. Not sure what's out this year...I got a cute strappy sandals by Bandolino (sp?) cheap and can definitely be worn again.

The great thing about silver shoes is that you don't necessarily have to get them at a 'wedding' shoe store. They have a lot of dressy shoes at Macy's in Roosevelt Field but I know that place is always a zoo.

I was going to say Macy's...My sister and SIL got silver sandles for my wedding. They are beautiful. I'm going to try to find them on the net and post a pic for you. They had a pretty good selection in Macy's.

Jenn, I was just at Estelle's Dressy dresses on Rte 110 and they have a lot of silver shoes. They also have a lot of other colors: navy, red, gold, black, white dyeables. Good Luck!

I just purchased my bridal shoes at Lord & Taylor ($49.99) - I love a bargain. They had a nice selection of colors and they had a lot of sales going on.
This is the Lord & Taylor in the city.
