Where can I take my pics?

What church are you getting married at?

If you're by El Caribe - go to Mill Basin/Sheepshead Bay - it's right on the water, the boats are beautiful, and it's a great backdrop.

I'm getting married at a Church in downtown Brooklyn (Brooklyn Heights) and will be taking pictures at the Promenade - has the NYC skyline/Bklyn & Manhattan Brides, and right on the water.

I was thinking of taking my epics on the promenade. Great back drop.

you could also take pictures on the Brooklyn Bridge or (I'm not familiar with Brooklyn so if this is really far, ignore it) the Botanical Gardens?

Canarsie Piers in NOT waht it use to be.

I suggest the Brooklyn Botanical gardens.. only is they are VERY strict on time allotted.

Let me think here....I grew up in Starrett (what is now Spring Creek towers) and lived in Mill Basin 3 blocks from El Caribe.

If you can't pull off the Botanical Gardens, (which I would understand, it's almost the other end of Flatbush Ave!) you could consider Manhattan Beach, or maybe even the Rockaways since the bridge is right there.

I know they built up the park area on Avenue U across the street from Marine Park. It's not much, but then again I never wandered all the trails.

The only other alternative I can think of would be heading towards the Jackie Robinson, and go to the park there by Jamaica Ave...(the name escapes me right now, but I think you know which one I mean!)

Going by the jackie rRobinson would be really far and a traffic nightmare.... not work it.

Your best bet would the Botanical Gardens.
