For LIC I have Gantry plaza and Astoria Park. Gantry Plaza wants $130. I'm trying to stay away from paying a fee.

What about the LIC piers area? You'll get some great shots of the NYC skyline.

I think that's Gantry plaza, no? They charge $130. Ugh... I just refuse to pay that when we're only going to be there for like an hour. I love the NYC skyline though...

This!! I have seen a bunch of bridal parties there and highly doubt they paid for a permit. Besides, I am curious as to who would come and check permits...it's a public park after all. I see on the Dept of Parks and Rec site is says to call regarding wedding photography, and that is just crazy to me. On top of the exorbitant NYC taxes people pay, they charge you to take pictures because you are in a wedding dress. I would be a rebel, and call it a day. :)

five pts! that is if you want the urban/NY feel...I ended up in BK for my e-shoot since I wanted this theme... Wedding pix will have garden, flowers, trees..
