where can we eat around Penn station that...

Original post by snwb08

isn't super ghetto and gross. and not fast food. we want to have dinner before the concert but i never know anything nearby except for mustang sallys/harrys. i don't know any decent places in that area but the concert is there and FH is taking the LIRR from forest hills so....

I just want like a grilled chicken sandwich or a burger or something like that. thoughts?

check this out yum yum turkey burger! it's so hard to find a good turkey burger!!

The turkey burger wins as the juiciest and most flavorful, especially when topped with nutty Gruyere. Add bacon to mellow the overly smoky beef version. All toppings--from radish sprouts to sweet onion marmalade--are market fresh. A welcome overindulgence is the addictive 'onion hay' (aka onion straws). Ronnybrook Dairy provides the base for the thick, classic shakes.

OH...and that area is under scaffolding right now (at least it was last weekend)...so dont miss it!

You should try Stout. It's between 6th and 7th and I believe its on 32nd. (I work on 31st so I know most places around there are pretty ghetto). Stout is nice inside and has ggod burgers, sandwiches etc. Check it out online

right across the street from the garden is a place called the skyline bar/grill. They do burgers and all that good stuff.
