Where can we have a bridal shower in Western Suffolk?
Is there anyplace cute, more like a teashop or bakery with coffee and stuff, where we could have a bridal shower? I'd rather not have an expensive, heavy lunch, afternoon tea would be better, but I can't think of anywhere like that outside of Manhattan! We're in the Babylon/Bay Shore/Deer Park area. Help?

Mae Brownes in Huntington does a tea party with sandwiches, finger foods and pastries for I believe $25 a person.
ETA: I am having a tea party and they are a lot more expensive than a lunch. So check out both options if cost is what is driving you to do tea.

Thanks, guys, I'm going to check them out. Or, I'll suggest them to my mom, this is my own bridal shower. It's the downside to being older, having my friends off-Island, and having my bridal party consist mostly of children and young teens.

I agree...that place is so cute!
Also if you would consider a brunch Argyle Grill in Babylon has a great Sunday brunch.

I planned my own shower as well - I live out of town and so does my whole BP. Plus I hate surprises and am super picky! I am having mine in the city at Lady Mendl's Tea Salon. FM me if you want any tea party ideas! Good luck!

You could use the Irish Coffee House - I've also heard of girls using Bertucci's for their shower's as they have a private room

La Bella Palermo in Babylon.. they have a cute seperate room upstairs for private gatherings and you can do appetizers and salads.. small dessert, coffe and tea :)

Do they? I live in Babylon, and I've gone past there but never eaten there. If we go for Italian we always go to Il Villagio--LOVE their food--or Gemelli's. I'll suggest that to my mom too. She wasn't thinking ethnic food until I suggested Chinese at Imperial Orchid. I love Imperial Orchid.
