like an old fashioned umbrella with a wooden handle... more for use in sun than that 'r' word.

My sister got hers from Oriental Trading Company. Not the best of quality BUT for only using it for a few hours while taking pictures, I'd say it's worth it. We decorated them ourselves with each of the BM's initals.

you know what, I didn't get it at Oriental Trading... I got it at http://www.pearlriver.com/v2/index.html. I was going to get it there, but I didn't want 12.
The quality is alright, it's not the fanciest one that I have seen around... but for the cost and my purposes - it works.
