Where can you get your marriage license in LI?

How long is the wait?

What's the best time to go? Morning? Afternoon?

Hi, My church told me you can go to your town hall and get your marriage license, and you wait for it. Your FH has to be present as well,and you have to have all documentation too. But you get it right there and then, and you can't go more than 90 days before.

Is it 90 days? I thought it was 60 days?

actually it's valid for 60 days, not 90.

you have to bring your 1)birth certificate with raised seal and 2)photo id like a license, passport, military id,

valid after 24 hours.

i went to Islip Town Hall in the morning and we were in and out in like 20 min. just go to your local town hall, as early as possible and bam! you're done!

both you and you FH have to be present.
and dont forget to bring a check or cash too!

you can get it starting at 60 days before up to 2 days before the wedding.
but i wouldnt wait down to the wire, b/c the state has to send you the lisence in the mail to bring to your wedding to be signed and witnessed.

we went to hempstead town hall.
we were told that mondays and fridays are the worst days to go b/c that's when it's the most crowded
