Which pair? I ended up buying 4 pairs of shoes.
1. The first pair was perfect - low heel, satin with rhinestone decoration, and the best part was that I only paid $20 for them. I could kick myself for this, but I LOST one! Aak!! So on to pair #2
2. This pair I bought two days before my first fitting at a small store in the city for about $60. They are satin dyeables slingbacks, and I only bought them because I have VERY tiny feet (kids 2 1/2 or a woman's 4) and this was the only pair in the store in my size that wasn't pointy and hurt my toes. Well, after standing still for 45 minutes my toes pinched so bad I could barely stand. So I decided to buy pair #3 as a backup.
3. I bought bridal sneakers that I found on the internet Savvy Sneaks. The only problem is that they're backless, and although I bought the smallest pair (5) I'm afraid my feet will fall out the back. I bought some elastic to sew on the back just in case, becuase I still really want to wear them. As a backup, I bought pair #4.
4. Last weekend my mom dragged me into that bridal shoe place on Old Country Road that everyone talks about. I bought a pair of shoes almost exactly like the first ones I bought, but without the rhinestones. They're a size 5 and a little big, but I think I'll stick with these. They're pretty comfortable.
So that's the end of my shoe saga.![]()
