Where did everyone get their

veils and headpieces? If you didn't go to a bridal salon, was it less expensive?

My headpiece was my MIL, bt the veil I ordered from Fantasyland in Patchogue. They have a large selection, in several color: white, winter white, ivory etc..

I used a veil shop in the city and it was much less expensive than the bridal shop and loved the veil and headpiece so much more than anything my bridal shop offered. My bridal shop wanted over $600 for the headpiece (no veil) that matched my gown and I hated it. They told me that I would never find something to match -color and look if I didn't buyit from their shop. I got my headpiece and 2 veils -with extra length - and a customization on the headpiece for about $300 and it was perfect. Even my seamstress whispered to me that is was better than what they wanted to sell me.

I used C&H Bridal in the city but she has recently closed her store - I believe if you search this site for the number - it directs you to her home in NJ - if that is an option for you.

i got my veil at the place i got my dress, but the tiara i got at patchogue floral. i'm pretty sure it's cheaper there but i didn't really shop around that much. anyway, it was under $100.

Fanastyland has a huge selection and are very inexpensive.

Thanks! Uh oh - another question: my dress isn't in, and I don't remember the exact 'detail' of the dress or the color white. Should I just wait for it to come in, or will the manufacturer send me a pic or a swatch?

I got my tiara on ebay and my veil where I got my dress.

Just like Niecy. I got my tiara at C&H. Like she said they are not around in the city but she's still working out of her home in NJ. The stores wanted at least $400 for the ones I liked and I got mine for $145. I am using my FSIL's veil! It matches my dress perfectly!
