Where did the Paradise Bridal thread go?

Probably. Those were highly inflammatory statements. You can't say things like 'This is the WORST place ever.' That's defamation of character.

i got my dress from there too. I didn't see the post, but in the past year i have heard many bad, but also many good things about that place. Everyone has different experiences at different places. I disliked Village bridal A LOT! but they have many good reviews... so don't worry, go there with an open mind!

::Sigh:: See, now everyone gets all worked up. I've heard of some people having bad experiences but I've heard that about every bridal salon I've ever heard of or visited.

Personally, I purchased my dress from Paradise. They were sweet and accomodating from start to finish. I had a whole slew of people with me when I was dress shopping and they never complained, even when my FGs were running around like lunatics. They stayed late b/c I still had other dresses I wanted to try. They truly did go above and beyond. Alterations were excellent as well. We told them what we wanted and got exactly what we asked for.

And see, I loved Village Bridal. I would've ordered from there over Paradise but they didn't carry Enzoani dresses.

this goes for ANY vendor! You have to take what people say with a grain of salt and just go in with an open mind.

Kinda sorta the same thing - FH and I met with 3 different DJ's. Once of which has RAVE reviews and I really could not stand them LOL I felt their customer service really stank.

But that was just us and so many people love them and have good experiences, which is fantastic, but just didn't work out for us.

So just keep that in mind with any vendor.

I have heard positive and negative things about paradise. I ordered my dress there as well. So far I have had good experiences. Some of the ladies are nice others are a little snooty and cant be bothered. Sometimes I feel like they lie alot too but what salesperson doesnt!

What makes me nervous is that I have heard more negative things about paradise alterations than any other salon. So far one bridesmaid had her alterations done and it went well. It was hectic at hell but It was a saturday. We spoke up and made sure we had the seamstress do exactly what we wanted and they fixed it.


Hearing about the snags and rips on dresses worries me though...I heard that from someone else too...

Consider yourself lucky- they typically only do alterations on Tues/Thurs.
