A mutual friend tried to set us up for 2+ years & I wouldn't have it. Finally one night she just invited 'a friend' to come out drinking with us & he and I hit it off immediately. After 3 weeks of dating, she finally admitted that he was the guy she had been telling me about for years...

It *****, we met on a personals site that like doesn't exist anymore. I wish we met on Yahoo! personals so I could send in an email or something.
It was back in the days when personals were 100% free!! Excite.com had a personals site similar to Yahoo! I figured we'd just be epals since he lived far and was young. I kept putting off meeting him for so long.

We met in college. It was my senior year and his 5th year and we lived across the hall from each other in our apartment building. His mom always jokes that it cost her $20,000 for him to meet me since he took the 5th year and if he hadn't he wouldn't have met me. Luckily FMIL says I was worth the $20,000!!!

At Starbucks, he was sitting at a table by himself and I asked him if I could sit at the empty space. He said yes and we have been together ever since.

well I know of him for quite a few years before we actually met...we grew up 2 blocks away from eachother, knew alot of the same ppl and he delivered to me for 4 years when he was in college and working for this italian restaurant.
Its funny bc i went out to clubs all the time but i never liked meeting guys in club so i just went to have fun and never meet guys...But i was at a club one night with a friend that FH knew and he was there with 2 friends that i knew, he finally came over and asked me to go to the bar and get a drink.
