Where did you.....

meet your FH?

I met James in May of 2002 at work. I used to work part time at General Motors and he started working there for the summer. His supervisor introduced him to the whole office at a morning meeting. I thought he was so cute and my co-workers agreed. I told one of my friends there. I'm going to date that kid and she laughed and said no way!
So I started my quest...I really didn't see him much because he worked in a different department so everyday I'd 'fake file' by his desk lol....I'd bring a bunch of papers that didn't belong over there by his desk hoping he'd come and talk to me! And I'd see him filing by my desk as well. Finally one day I saw him filing by me and I decided to grab my fake files and file by him too! We started chatting and after a couple of weeks of chatting he finally asked me to hang out! We started dating in the middle of June or so. After a month of being with him I knew I'd marry him. When we were dating for about a year I finally admitted to him that I would fake file by him and he started laughing and he said he would do the same by my desk!

What a cute story. I actually met my FH though my best friend. She was dating this guy on and off for 2 years (now her husband) and I would hang out but never met his friends really. Then one day I went to a super bowl party at there house and FH then started to casually pursue me. I was a tough cookie and didn't want a relationship, I was happy with my single life- lol. It was so funny he had so much confidence but of course I am a tease and we just remained friends for a few months until one day my best friend told him he better make a move before it just remains 'a friendly relationship). He then casually asked me out on a date and from there we clicked.

FH and I met at work too. We actually ended up sitting next to each other. We have to come in on the weekends Quarterly. So i had gone out very late on friday night, and i had to go into work on Saturday all hungover.... FH thought i was sick, and i went to lunch and when I came back and there was an apple, an orange, a banana and a bottle of coke on my desk (i hate diet soda). He thought it would make me feel better.... I had an idea that he was interested in me, so i once i saw how sweet he was we started dating and now i get to post on LIW all day with you girls

I meet my FH through work--I worked at a mortgage company and he was one of the agents that I had to deal with over the phone. I talked to him once in January and thought he had a bad attitude. Then in June the girl who mainly handled his accounts got married and went on her honeymoon, so I had to take over. I talked to him everyday online and on the phone, then one day he came in to drop off a file, and I was so nervous I went took the file from him said thanks and booked it back to my desk. Ten minutes later I got am im asking me out

my best friend dated this guy Angelo and a few years after they broke up my girlfriends and I were prank calling him in this phone sex voice and telling him that we wanted to meet up with him and his friends - obviously we were very bored and we kept calling him all night long.....now, this kid isnt that smart - so we told him to meet us at a few random places - like in parking lots, on side streets etc. and we would go to the location and hide in the car and watch him and his friends look for the 'sexy' girl who was calling him i mean these guys would get out of the car and wait for the girl to appear - and then we'd call and tell him - ok im in the red maxima come tap on my window - and you'd see this kid going up to empty cars thinking there was a hot girl inside - it was hysterical!!! well, by the end of the night it was just my best friend and I and we decided that we'd call up Angelo and tell him that it was really us calling him and that we were watching him the entire time......he got a good laugh out of it and we met up with him and his friends later that night. FH was one of the guys that was hanging out that night - and he was really annoyed b/c he knew that it was a prank or a joke and he was getting so pissed that his friends were wasting the night away chasing us around BUT when he saw me he couldnt keep his eyes off me! no seriously, he was staring at me so much that i thought he was SCARY! Hahahaha - and then we ended up talking and by the end of the night I had the hugest crush on him!

at cheers! (not the boston cheers, it was in binghamton where we went to school). i was thinking of doing the cheers theme song as our cake-cutting song.

It no longer exists though. Sometimes I wish we had met at a concert which is what he originally told his friends and family. Ha ha!
