Bridal Suite of Centereach. Ask for Beverly, she's very helpful - she suggested the dress that I ended up picking and I was very happy with it!

Haven't gotten the dress yet, but I fell in love with one at Valentina Bridal in Brooklyn on New Utrecht. :)

I went to Valentina Bridal first the to Bridal Couture of Manhassett, and chose a dress from Bridal Couture. If you don't want to spend as much I would go with Valentina. They both have beautiful dresses.

I went to look at some nice shops on the Island and then got it from Burton's for cheap. They were wonderful and I saved hundreds of dollars off the price of my gown. Also, it worked out because their alterations were fabulous - they did a lot to my gown for me and it was so perfect on the day-of in terms of fit. Ask for Carole.

What I did was I looked at a bunch of salons -- found a dress at Bridal Reflections. Now, I was going to just buy it there but the lady gave me an attitude and I was like oh hell no lol -- So, out of spite I went searching, b/c I already knew what gown I wanted, and that is when I discovered Carole at Burton's. I told her the gown I wanted, the style number/designer and color. Then, I came in to get measured and the price was literally HUNDREDS less -- almost $1,000. Turns out, the BR salesperson giving me an attitude worked in my favor - big time!

Ever since then I tell people - go look until your hearts content at salons - have a nice, cushy, shopping experience and then just call Burton's with your decision haha! HTH!

i shopped at Priscilla of Boston in the city. they were absolutely amazing. BUT I ended up buying from Kleinfelds.

Bridal Couture of Manhassett - I had excellent service and no real issues to speak of. Definitely recommend going there - ask for Anne or Darlene. I am still getting compliments on how beautiful my dress was.
