I guess it would have to be some random Applebee's in NJ that I picked him up in after crashing his car on the way to my house to pick me up for our first date. Very romantic.

His house. He 'cooked' me a nice romantic dinner. (It was bake ziti from a local take out, that he go about 2 hrs. before I came over so it was ice cold.) He didnt even have the smarts to take it out of the tins to try to hide it. Then we went into Huntington to Classy Coffee and played Checkers. To this day, he still cant cook and I cant beat him in Checkers.

we went out for coffee first. we didn't want our official first date to be a 3 hour dinner if we really didn't get along so we opted for the coffee house. but that lasted 3 hours anyway because we got along so well. then the next date was to a nice italian restaurant.
i knew as soon as we sat down for coffee that i would marry him.

I consider our second date our real first date. We met on Jdate, so the first date was just a get to know you cup of coffee at a local Starbucks.
Our second date was more like a real first date. We spent the day at the Museum of Natural History and then had dinner.

nothing fancy. we went to ruby tuesday's for an early dinner. he had to work that night so the date was about 2 hours long.
