I just booked my photographer and they offer us engagement pictures with our package. I was planning on doing E-pics at first but since they come with it, of course we are gonna do it. My photographer told us we can pick anywhere from NYC to Montauk. Can you guys tell me where you did your pics for some ideas. I think we are going to do them feb-march time.

We did ours in Central Park. It is pretty normal to do them there but it's so classic we didn't really think about any other spot.

Sounds weird but I did mine in a field in Wading River haahaha
we did ours at Jones Beach and we are doing a second set at central park.

We did ours in the West Village/Meatpacking and then went up to Fort Tryon Park in Washington Heights -- beautiful park with great photo spots and way less crowded than Central Park

thanks girls. Central park was the first place that come to mind. Thing is, FH is not really too excited about doing these. He really doesnt like being posed and thinks people are going to be staring. lol So i was thinking central park may be too crowded of a place for him???
i dont know, i know he'll do whatever when it comes down to it and is just being difficult now. i like the northport village idea too but i wish it was warmer out and would stop SNOWING already!!

We did Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. We were trying for cherry blossoms, but the weather was wacky and we ended up with the petals on the ground, which was also pretty. There were a lot of great places there
