Where did you get your dress cleaned and preserved?

Were you able to see the dress cleaned BEFORE they preserved it so you knew it was clean?

I went to a cleaners in Farmingdale (The Cleanery) which specializes in preserving gowns by partering with Prestige Preservation. Here is a link to the website for Prestige Preservation:

I had my mom take my dress to The Cleanery when we were on our honeymoon and they cleaned it meanwhile I was away but did not store it b/c I wanted to view it before they boxed it up. I can't begin to tell you how filthy my dress was from our wedding day. it had grease on it and everything and after the cleaners washing it twice, it came clean and they were really good with everything as far as packaging.

Check out their website, it's really interesting how they preserve it. Nonetheless, you can still view your dress even when it is packaged.

I highly recommend them. Oh, and the cost was $250 for everything. It also comes with a lifetime guaranty.
