Where did everyone get their gowns. I don't want to spend a fortune. I haven't started looking and I don't know where to start. Did anyone use something online like bridalsave???

i tried mine on in Bridal reflections but ordered it from BURTON'S in Mellville on RT 110 the lady was so nice and she will get you any gown (for the most part) and save you money

I just made my decision today! I'm ordering mine from House of Brides. I made sure they were an authorized dealer of my designer and they are (one of only about 20 in the entire country) so I'm going with them.

I got mine from the Bridal Garden in Bethpage. They have lots of the less-expensive designers. Mine's an Alfred Angelo. To be honest, I'd planned to keep looking- I'd planned to go to Bridal Reflection and Macy's, since I loved the Demetrios line.
It didn't even occur to me to try on gowns then see about ordering from one of the online sites. A lot of them offer amazing discounts. But I love my dress!

Lynbrook Bridals love them statrted at Lillette's in Baldwin hated them had to find another shop

Estelle's on Rt.110, I got a designer gown for 700.00 . They have a separate section in the store and it is not crazy in the back where the bridal gowns are. I am so happy I had gotten mine there it was discontinued shortly afterwards. I did have to find a separate seamstress to alter it.

RK Bridal in Manhattan. They also do price beating. My dress was supposed to be $770. I got it for a total of $648.
Kleinfeld's - it was a trunk show and I fell in love.....

David's Bridal - good selection - great prices - HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! I sucked it up. The fitting was a NIGHTMARE You can't get through to them on the phone when you try to call I was warned about how bad they were but couldn't believe it. Now I believe it. If I were to do it again, I would go somewhere else.
