this is an easy one
staples. you want something like resume paper. i think i used 32lb paper.

I bought linen paper from www.lcipaper.com. Amazing service/delivery time. I used this paper for all of my DIY projects (see album)

For programs a heavy weight paper would work, but for menus, I'd use something like a heavy cardstock.

I used createforless.com -- they had really heave cardstock (80lb) which was perfect for my menus, table numbers and the thank you tag for my favors.

I bought vellum from paperandmore.com (the only place I could get ivory) for invitation inserts. For all other DIY I bought cardstock from either Michaels or AC Moore.
