I didn't plan on looking for shoes this early, but since the dress I ordered is a hollow to hem measurement, I have to get my shoes and a-line slip by next week! I have no idea where to even start and I don't want to spend a fortune?! Any ideas would be so helpful. Thanks!!!!!!!

I got mine at Craft Shoes in Commack. Sorry, I didn't wear a slip so I can't help you there!!

I got my shoes from zappos.com. I ordered A LOT of shoes, and b/c they have free shipping there and back I got to try on the shoes with the dress to see which ones I liked best and were most comfortable. THen I sent back the rest.
About the slip, my seamstress (sp?) actually had one that I borrowed for the fitting, b/c I didn't know what kind I needed with the dress. Then I bought that at Davids Bridal

SInce the bottom of my dress is lace the seamstress can't hem it otherwise all of the lace would be gone, so they measure the dress from your neck to the floor and cut it so it fits perfect with the shoes. It is kind of scary because once I get shoes I can't change my mind unless they are the same height. ..I live in Suffolk so I will definetly check out craft shoes. Thanks.

I got my shoes at David's Bridal, and I'm borrowing the slip from my MOH, but she got hers from David's, too.

I just went shoe shopping yesterday. I love all the shoes. My sister (MOH) got hers at Sandy's shoes on Sunrise highway in Massapequa park and I got mine at 'The Bridal Shoe Boutique' right near DSW near the Roosevelt field mall. Mine were only like $70..
