Where did you get your veil?

Where did you get your veil?

I got one already from ebay, but I decided to get a longer one tiered one. I don't want to order this time online because I want to try it on and see the color. I need Ivory.

Where did you get your veil?
And if you don't mind, what length veil did you get and how much did it cost?

Cathedral length mantilla - english netting - the beading on it matches my gown - at Paradise Bridal...was ~$400.

My Mom is making it. It has three tiers and a small ribbon edge and she's putting more stuff on it. Hits my butt. Shimmer material. About $7.

People talk a lot about Tri-County Market. I don't even know where that is, but you can try there.

my mom will be making mine as well but i have yet to figure out what style to create...

$300-$400 for a veil? is this the going rate?

i remember i gasped when i found out a friend of mine spent $700 on a tiara.

i won't have a tiara but i think i could even make a veil if need be.

I didn't do any research - I just picked the one that is made for my gown. I definitely wouldn't pay that for a plain, tulle veil.

The funny part was that before I even tried on any dresses, I was adament that I *wasn't* going to wear a veil. But it really completed/finished off the look.

Patchogue Floral. Mine is a two layer (cathedral and fingertip/blusher) pencil edge attached to the comb. The fingertip/blusher has tiny scattered rhinestones and pearls and the cathedral layer has delicate leafy embroidery on the edges. I'm paying $129.95.

Tri COUnty is inLevittown, on hemspstead turnpike.
Barron's ( the vendor) quoted me $90 for a one teir catherdral. They don't have them to try on their though, but they have a few with examples of the edging, thsoe might have been communion veils. I didn't look close up.
they may have soem, but not cathedral, which is what I was lookign for.

the Bridal garden in bethpage had them too, but the one I liekd was over $200.

My veil is 3-tiered, fingertip length. Two of the layers have pearls. I got it and my hair pins at Sposa Bella, in Brooklyn, across from Kleinfelds, for around $350 or so..

My veil is from Tri-County, the name of the booth is escaping me right now. Near the front entrance – not the one that does custom work.

The veil itself is 3 tiers, I guess you’d call it elbow-length, and the edges have crystals and pearls on them.

50 Bucks!!

Re: Where did you get your veil?

just bought it today actually from Paul's Veils in Manhattan.

It is a two tier veil:

blusher is 30 inches and the longer piece is 120 inches. I wanted a veil to go past my cathedral train. It will be ready in a month !!

I got my veil from the Bridal Suite of Centereach. It's a fingertip veil and I think the headpiece and the veil in total cost about 400.00

I purchased mine from the shop where I got my dress. I got my tiara from Tri-county.

I got one online...they sent me samples of the veil materials beforehand so i knew the color matched (diamond white)....and the material itself is very very soft. I think mine - 2-tiered, elbow length was about $70.....

Re: Where did you get your veil?

I got my tiara at David's for like $100 or something (did someone say $700?!?!?! ). And my veil is from a store near the back entrance of Tri-County (I forgot the name) for around $65 or something ($300?!?! WTF?!?!? ). I can't see the point of spending all that money on something to be worn only once. Especially since the dress costs so much already anyway. JMO.
