I haven't been able to touch base with the woman who runs the rehearsals at my parish yet so not sure if this is something that they give us or not. But curious as to where everyone got their candles from.
I doubt your church will give you one as the unity candle is not a part of a Catholic Mass or ceremony. It is an optional thing...

Re: Where did you girls get your unity candles?
I actually got a simple one with rhinestones from AC Moore. Not too fancy and it looks nice in my living room.

I made ours. I got a pillar candle and 2 tapers from AC Moore, along with Velum paper. Printed a saying on the velum paper, and tied ribbon around the tapers. It looked great, and cost only about 6 bucks all together.
I found this on-line and fell in love. I got it in the mail a few days ago and love it even more!
thats so funny just came across that one too!! we're still undecided though! i also loved:
that's actually the same set I used! I love the pearls on it! Just a heads up though, try to avoid having the two small candles lit too early. Someone (I guess the priest?) had lit ours before the ceremony started and by the time we did the unity candle ceremony, they were already burned half way away. I got mine at Party City, by the way.

yeah, though a friend who was married in our parish 2 years ago said that they provided it since they opted to have one, so wasn't sure if that was still the case.

It is the same company as celticcandles.com. They have irish themed ones and regular ones too.
I bought mine here also ~ I hope to receive mine soon!
I brought mine from here as well. I just love it. It is personalized with our names, date and a verse from the bible that I picked and they are engraved into the candle rather than stuck on with a label. Our names are also engraved onto the taper candles.
