Where did you look for Bridesmaids dresses?

Ladies,

I got my 5 BM's together all ready to try on dresses -- we show up at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa &

what do we get????

About 7 girls floundering around not doing a darn thing to help us! They had 5 clips for their dresses TOTAL. This was so horrid!

I literally went through the racks like a crazy lady pulling out anything that was a possibility and threw them in their rooms. VERY POOR customer service.

It's so hard to coordinate these many girls together - so I think I'm just going to look myself w/ maybe my MOH. It was very stressful.

Can you recommend someplace else that has lots of dresses with LOTS of help & organization.

thank u

We actually got a lot of help from BR - Massapequa - but I also only went with two girls.

I also went to Bridal reflections in Mass. for my BM gowns, very unorganized (but they did just move).
The one in Carle place was much better. If you live out east more on the Island, I suggest Bridal Suite in centereach. It may not be the nicest looking spot, but they were soooo helpful and they will beat almost any price, very competitive. If you go there ask for Laura. She is really helpful. Good Luck!

I am getting mine from David's Bridal. From what I have heard they are not so great on Long Island. I am in North Carolina though and the customer service was great here.

i went with all my girls to estell's dressy dress! i had all differant size and taste in my girls which there where 8 of them, they all wore differant dresses but the same color! it looked great and they could use them all again. for my maid of honor she had a two tone dress the top was an off white and the bottom the color of all the other girls! good luck!

I got mine from the same place I bought my dress at-----Centereach Bridal Suite. I have found the service to be very good so far, but they do not have a very big selection of BM dresses.

I got mine at the Lynbrook Bridal Center it is a little crazy there on the weekends b/c you don't need an appointment but they are very nice & their prices were reasonable. 10% off the price tag and the alterations cap at $50 which I thought was a good deal. I had my girls try on dresses at Macys and then I went around looking for the dress & where I could get it for cheaper.

I highly recommend Kleinfeld Bridesmaids. They have a long wait list, but SO worth it. I loved them. Ask for Daisy, she was awesome. She spent literally 2 hours with me and one of my girls helping us try on dresses and she was so helpful. The only reason I'm not ordering from them is because Wedding Salon (where I got my dress from) beat their price (not by that much) and they do on-site alterations.
