I am in search of a good pair of closed toes shoes that won't kill my feet. I am willing to pay more than the norm... but can't figure out where to go.

nine west has cute ones ** I know they are REALLY expensive.. but I have a pair of Manolo Blahniks.. and they are the MOST COMFORTABLE shoes ive ever worn.. Im thinking about buying a pair for the wedding

Those are cute. Where in Macy's? The shoe section, or the bridal salon? I codln't find brdal shoes there. I ordered from Bridalshoes.com, should come today. I need wide width, and couldn't find them anywhere. RK didn't have anybody to help with the shoes when I was there.

In the regular shoe section. These were in fact the only white/wedding type shoes they had And they actually did feel kind of Wide on me. You might want to check them out. Good luck.

I got mine at Fenaroli in Manhattan. Fenaroli is sold in stores as well (I know Bridal Reflections carries them) or on-line at www.myglassslipper.com. A trip to the actual showroom is definitely worth the time though because they have all the styles there.
The shoes you posted look very similar to the shoes I bought at DSW in Carle Place.
Ivory silk with beading across the top of the shoe.....
They were $47.50.
I just love them.....so elegant!

Leslie, I checked out the new DSW over the weekend, across from smithaven mall, but they have a small selection. I liked a pair that they had, white silk, but it looked ivory compared to a shoe next to it. I'm going out to carle place tonight hoping/knowing they have a bigger selection. I'd like to find ones w/beads on it too to match my dress.
