You can try The Botanical Gardens in the bx, dont know if u have to pay 2 take pics there, but it is worth a shot.

Yes!! that was going to be my suggestion! I work right near there, it's beautiful!! Or if you dont want to get a permit...there is a park right near there...Bronx River Park, which prob has nice places for pics

Maybe Pelham Bay park?
Or you could try City Island or Orchard Beach

If you do google image searches of all of these places pics will come up! GOOD LUCK!
If you decide to do LI pics...i recommend Sands Point preserve! It is GORGEOUS! I took my pics there (in my album) they have beach, forrest, castle, and a mansion. Its on the northeastern shore of LI so not TOO far out if he is coming from the BX. It is prob one of the closer places for him to go

FH proposed to me at Wave Hill (in Riverdale) which is gorgeous and has a view of the Hudson River. He REALLY wants to take engagement photos there, but we have to see if there's a fee involved for taking photos.
Our alternate plan is to take them at the Cloisters, not inside, but outside there's a lot of different 'backgrounds' to choose from

How about City Island? You may be able to get some pretty pictures there. I'm not too familiar with the Bronx or Westchester.
We took ours in Central Park. Have you asked your photographer if he minds traveling to take your pictures. Some wont mind.
