RK Bridal - they have a huge selection and a variety of prices. The dress we chose for my wedding was only $148

I went to Lillette's, but I have just started. the woman was nice but she said to return about November/december because they had many dresses 'downstairs' that weren't pressed yet, and she still had more coming in.
My budget is similar to yours and my next stop is Bridal Elegance....

I'm in Jersey - planning a Long Island wedding & found a wonderful place near the Meadowlands - it's called New Jersey Bridal Center. Not one of my bridesmaids had to pay 200 & that INCLUDES alterations!!!!
If you do not want to have your alterations done there- you take 35 dollars off the price!!! Looking at my contract now - the cheapest dress - taking it to be altered elsewhere is 140.00.
I apologize - one of the dresses is 220.00 - but it was a much larger size than the rest and she is having her alterations done on site - so that includes all alterations.
The staff there are wonderful! They let us wander and play and once we had a style we liked - they started showing us all kinds of styles similar...

Bridal Suite in Centereach has a HUUUUUUGE selection...SERIOUSLY!!!!! .i didn't order through them 'cause i've heard nightmare stories...but we found the BM dresses there & then just ordered through Fantasia Bridal.

I went to Macy's in Manhasset. They give a discount of 15% if you have a few girls. But i wasn't crazy about the service....they were very slow

I got my MOH dress at Davids ( what a nightmare, do not recommend using them) and my BM dresses at The Wedding Plaza in Floral Park.

Netbride.com. It was the cheapest price that I could find anywhere. None of the bridal stores would match it.

ordering from doris fashions in bklyn (2 out of 4 BM - 1 lives in Poughkeepsie, 1 in Sacramento)
The woman in the store was SOOOOO nice, and it doesn't hurt that the store is literally around the corner from my house.

Def. check out Bridal Elegance!!! My girls got their dresses there and they were like $60.00 less than any other place we went to!!!
