Where did your mom/FMIL get their dress?

We have started the dreaded MOB/MOG shoppign for a dress. Give me some ideas ladies.

My Ma got hers at Estelles. It was approx $600.

My mom found a few she like at lord & taylor but ended up buying her gown at saks.

I had three moms that needed dresses.. and they all found dresses $200 or less that didn't need alterations.

Macy's, Lord and Taylor and Nordstrom!
