get dressed? The day of the wedding, I'll be at my mom and dad's house to get hair/makeup done... at 2 the limo is coming to pick us up and take us to the ceremony/RH (doesn't start till 6pm)... my question is maybe a stupid one...but do i drive with the dress in the limo, or get dressed at my mom's house and wear it in the limo. i don't want to get it wrinkled. I have no idea what i'm doing. what are you girls doing? suggestions? help! why oh why are the little details so confusing!

Well it's a lil different for me since my mom is driving me in to RH. I'll be doing my hair and makeup myself at home and will get dressed in the bridal suite at the RH.

wait how come limo is picking you up at 2 if ceremony doesn't start until 6pm? Are you taking pics at the RH beforehand, is that why? If so then i would get dressed at home and just show up at RH dressed up and ready to take pics right away. Also is your photographer going to be at your parents home while you get ready, this way you might want to do everything there to have those pics.

thanks for the input. yes, actually we're doing all our major pictures are being shot before the wedding so we can enjoy our cocktail hour and all that. but you're right, i think getting dressed at my mom's sounds like a better idea. and that way, i get to wear the dress longer :o) i love my dress! thank you girls for all the input. i don't really have anybody to help me figure all this stuff out, so this is really helpful!

I'm getting dressed before the limo gets me just so I make sure I have time. I don't want to get there and have to worry about getting ready quickly to start taking pics.
