Where do I start with changing my name?

Where do I start with changing my name?

I'm assuming Social Security card first? Do I have to go down in person? I am from Suffolk County. Help!! TIA!

Social is a good place to start & yes, it does have to be done in person.

Then i'd do your license and then bank (though they may ask for you to wait until you have your marriage license).

I did DMV first and then SS. It doesn't really matter.

I would say SS is a good place to start... then the DMV.
