I personally love the fulton steamboat in lancaster. And its less expensive to stay in Lancaster then hershey. Hershey is only like 30 mins from lancaster.

In Lancaster, the Cork Factory

Go to the Iron Hill Brewery and get the bruschetta. It is amazing ( we were just there like 3 weeks ago)

When we go to hershey we stay at the country inn and suites. Very clean and cute they also have discount tickets for the park. If you want a more upscale place stay on their property.

Hershey lodge is also awesome! I've stayed there a few times and it's always amazing!
