Where do you actually place the card box?

Where do you actually place the card box?

I am getting married at my hall but my party will be moving around within the building.

Where should I place the card box?

In a table right outside the ceremony room?
In the cocktail hour room?
Right outside the reception room?

we placed ours in the reception room...RH usually set up a gift table for you

We had it placed behind our sweetheart table in the reception room.

I am placing the cardbox on it's own table with the guestbook. That table will be behind the sweetheart table.

i went to a wedding where they had it by the guest book.

i had it on the gift table.

Mine was on a separate table next to our sweetheart table. I liked that it was close to us because people could come up, put the card in the box and chat with us.

All the weddings I have been to, the card box is in the reception room either next to the gift table or on the gift table.

Not sure where we're putting ours BUT I did hear that you shouldn't have it near a doorway/exit because it makes it easier to walk off with.

I've seen them in the reception room, near the bride and groom's table.

I was in a wedding at Glen Island recently and it went behind the sweetheart table.

i will most likely be putting mine in the cocktail hour room because thats where guests will see my wish bowl and where guests will be picking up their seating place cards. The card box will be on the same table.

Yes! Just a small little side table with a table cloth over it.

Oh yeah! I didn't even tell them what to use, I just asked that it be placed anywhere in between the dais and the cake table

We placed ours behind the sweetheart table. Nothing will be in it until the reception starts, so you are safe.

OUrs was on its own table with the guest book at one corner of the dance floor close to the entrance.
