Where do you get your decorating inspiration?

I look through magazines like Pottery Barn because I love their stuff....but mostly, I look to my husband...he's great with that stuff

i watch decorating shows and then go to ikea or target to replicate the more expensive things, i have used some great ideas i got from different shows

I go to Home Interior partys - I get great ideas from them. However - I'm pretty useless when it comes to decorating, I have no imagination at all. It amazes me sometimes when I go to my friends houses and they look so beautiful!!!! Where do they get that knack for decorating?

Trading Spaces always has lots of affordable ideas. I like to look at the Pottery Barn store too, for ideas, but I am always able to find similar items for less $$. They sell these ledge shelves there, but I was able to get really similar ones for $9 at Target.

The Ikea catalog has great ideas also.

Pottery Barn has some great looks.

I just knock off the pottery barn or crate and barrel catalogs...people always compliment my decorating...if they only knew!

i watch things like the look for less on the style channel (although it is for clothes) and use that in all parts of my life....our apartment totally looks like ME and my style(and then again so does thom since i buy most of his clothes!!) hahahahhaha.

i tend to go with a color scheme and then use it in some way throughout chanigng up accent colors so that i can move stuff around from room to room.

Our apartment is all blue with red or yellow accents throughout....because of the primary colors i get alot of kids stuff too...it works and it is cheap....i know off what i see for alot of $$ in pottery barn etc. for cheap at target etc. and TJ Max and places like that...I LOVE A GOOD DEAL!

I get almost all of my inspiration from magazines and books.

I purchase most of my goods from Ebay, Home Goods/TJ Maxx/Marshalls and Tuesday Morning.
