I have crystal tips and am in need of a serious fill in and my feet need a pedicure!!
where do you guys go and how much do you pay?

what are crystal tips? I have permanent french right now which is just powder and glue... I used to have extensions but this lasts longer because its not easy for me to get there during the week (I go in Bay Ridge). I usually pay about $40 for manicure (w/ fill ins) and pedicure. sometimes more, sometimes less...depending on how many nails are broken!

I go in Brooklyn (Bensonhurst) for an acryclic fill-in and pedicure and I pay $27.

I used to get glass, but now I get acrylic and I have no problems. I love my place because they usually last for 3 weeks.
For fill in's I pay 15 dollars (20 If i get a french) pedicur is 12 dollars (20 dollars for a special pedicure which is a massage on your feet and legs using a cooling gel, aloe and some other stuff)

Crystal tips are clear (transparent tips) not the regular acrylic kind.. it's cool cause they look very natural.. not that white appearance that the acrylics have.. I get soo lazy to go and get them done.. it's soo bad.. not the pedicure but DEF the fill in.. I wish I could pay someone to do them for me in my sleep LOL!
I have a gift cert. to Pilos? how is that place?

I never got my nails done at Pilo - they cant be all that bad, that's like the most popular spa in bay ridge! I had a facial there once and never went back b/c I didn't like the woman (she hurt me!).
Where I go is up the block... J&J on 82nd and 3rd... the owner has been doing my nails since before she owned this salon...I feel so guilty going to anyone else!!
The permanent french is like that too...its clear except for the very tip which is white...not like acrylic... thats what I like about it.

If you want a more local place I go to ANGEL TIPS in North M***apequa they just changed the name from ANNIE NAILS--- I recommend JESSIE OR JUDY both do great work
