I want to get a nice outfit for going out to a really nice restaurant. I want something that will be very flattering on me.I am not sure what stores to check.

I like Lord & Taylors and once in a while I find something in Macys.

The Limited, Express, The Gap, Anne Taylor Loft, Anne Taylor and sometimes Macys( not a big dept. store shopper myself)

Go to Bloomingdales in Roosevelt Field. My favorite section where I always find something is right next to shoes---they have Tahari and Donna Karen and Laundry and BCBG. A little expensive though so beware

Bloomingdales, Saks, Nordstroms, and L & T. You can great full price and GREAT discounted stuff at bloomies if you know where to look.

Be careful of places like Off 5th and The Rack- although you can find great stuff there - honestly it is not the same stuff in the stores as it is at the L & T clearance store - which is a great place to get laundry, DKNY, and all the other great stuff for about 75% off what bloomies and L & T are currently selling for the same price) and the quality is definitely not the same...

I went to NY & Company and found really nice things. I didn't check out any of the other stores otherwise I would have spent too much.

I work down the block from Ann Taylor Loft so I'm there all the time, it's bad, very very bad!!
