For those of you that haven't booked yet - where do you want to book? How many places have you checked out?
My FH and I knew before we were engaged that we wanted to have our wedding at the East Wind. He had his mind all set but I love to shop around before I buy anything. So, I forced him into looking at the Fox Hollow last night (I bribed him with promising that I would make him crepes if he went). It was nice but it really made up our minds...we want the East Wind.
Is it foolish to not look around anymore?

Go with your gut, if you know you want Eastwind and its within your budget, go for it!!
We knew we wanted Watermill but I insisted that we look around and nothing compared to it and I feel like we wasted our time since we already knew what we wanted!

No, its not foolish at all!! You have your heart set on the Eastwind-- so did we-- and its possible that nothing else will compare to what you both want. We ONLY looked at the Eastwind and booked on the spot. We did tons of research online and have been to a billion weddings, but we only went to look at the Eastwind. We don't regret it at all, but if you think you might, look around. You have plenty of time!

I'm dying to book my resort, Riu Ocho Rios. I also can't wait to book my wedding planner, Almarie from Tropical Weddings Jamaica. She'll take care of booking my ceremony and reception at The Ruins at the Falls Restaurant. Unfortunately, I can't really book anything for another year I'm also anxious to book my photographer, SunGold Photography!!!! They take amazing photos! They are going to rack up the price of my wedding a bit but the pictures are the most important thing to me. I just have to sit back and save up money for a year until I'm able to officially book anything
