i am obsessed with my nails and have been going to the same place for like ever. i have silk wraps with a powder fill....they are perfect. i am such a perfectionist and wont go 'just anywhere.'
i know its weird but does anyone get their nails done and have pics?

oh and this is why i posted that question! : ) i moved to the port jeff area and need a place thats not like 30 minutes away. anyone know of a good place?

Dimensions in E.Rockaway I have acrylic tips and get bi-weekly fill in's. Had them since 1996. Nothing bad has happened to them (no fungus) but my nail tech is THE BEST. :)

I have silk overlays and go to a place in Huntington. (doesn't do you much good b/c it's more than 30 minutes away.)

Shea...I live in Port Jeff Station and like you, I am a perfectionist when it comes to my nails. I just couldn't find anyplace that I was totally happy with, so now...I have gross little stubby nails

fh's mom used to go to the nail place in the genovese shopping ctr (i think its up on old town rd south of 347) she swore by them - its somewhat of a whole in the wall, but she never had problems....

I used to go there too. It's just hit or miss with who you get. If you find someone there that you like you can just keep making appts with them, but alot of times you have to sit and wait awhile.

I go to Cetta's Boutique (I think it's called that, I know the first word is Cetta's), in Mt. Sinai. Be sure to request Cetta (she's the owner). She's amazing!!! Been doing nails for like 30 years. There's another woman there named Barbara who I hear is good, but I never had her do my nails. I'm not sure if Cetta is taking on more clients herself, but give the salon a call...(I'll look for her number and FM you).
Her salon is like 3 stores away from Handlebar (some bar/restaurant). Feast's for Beasts is also in that shopping center. THere's another salon in that same shopping center, but that's on the end...don't go there!
I have gels, which I LOVE because when I get sick of the polish, I take it off and the gels have no seams like acrylic, and they look like a natural nail. But she does everything.
