Where does the Card Box go?

Where are you all putting your card boxes? I can't figure out where it's supposed to go during the wedding! Thanks!

It's supposed to go as close to the bride and grrom as possible. Iknow it sounds horrible, but you want to make sure no one can make of with your money!

We aren't having a sweetheart table, so we can't put it off to our side. Should it go behind us against the wall or something? Thanks again

ETA: about the purses vs. boxes, I just like the boxes better because I've been at weddings where it's really hard to track down the bride and groom (when there are a lot of guests) and I don't want to forget to give it to them.

we're going to have it next to us, on the side of the dias. I prefer the box too, I just think its easier for the guests and the bride and groom.

we had ours on the table next to us, with the wish bowl (guest book)

We are doing a birdcage.....will have it right next to our table.

We are planning to put ours on the gift table. That's usually where I've seen them.

They put a separate small round table behind and to the side of our table, and on it was the card box.
