This may be a dumb question but I am trying to figure out where to put my gift table? I thought I would put it in the room that our reception will take place in but then what do people do with their gifts during the ceremony and cocktail hour? What is everyone else doing?
People will just be able to hold the envelopes in their pocketbooks or suit jacket pockets. I've only seen the table with the card box/bird cage/money bag on it in the reception room, usually right near the bride & groom's table.
Thanks. All this talk of wedding theft has made me nervous. I would rather have it in a place everyone can see it.
