Where Have you had your Bridal Shower?

Well one of my BMs asked me to ask my mother what the plan is for the bridal shower and that who/how it will be paid for... She offered up her backyard as she stated having it at a restaurant can get pricey. So I call my mom who think my BM lives too far away (upstate) and that she is thinking about having at a local restaurant in Maspeth. Their prices are online and range from 32 dollars per person to 80 dollars... My question is whether anyone can recommend a place and whether they know the per person cost? I guess it will be left to me to find a place??

My shower was at 56th Fighter Group Restaurant on Rte. 110. Not sure how much it costs. If your mom is trying to keep it in the area, she can try Barosa's on Woodhaven Blvd. There's also Sarabella and Dee's on Metropolitan Ave in Forest Hills. I think Sarabella has an option with unlimited wine/soda and dessert for $35 pp.

i had my shower at Trinity Restaurant (no relation to my screen name, but its pretty funny, no?) in Floral Park, which is right on the Queens/Nassau boarder. The food is so delish there. Pretty inexpensive too. I think the price per person was somewhere around $20.

I went to a shower at Marios in Setauket... it was $14 pp

I threw my sisters shower at the maine maid inn (hicksville)...we threw the 'old fashioned tea party' instead of the shower because it was an hour longer, it was $26.95 per person, and then we added an omelette station for an extra $2 per person....it's one of lessings places so all the info is on thier website.....
