where in Central Park?

Hi ladies - FI and I have our e-pics scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in Central Park. I know tons of brides have taken pics there... but where exactly in Central Park should we meet the photographer? Any recommendations? THANKS!

Sorry, I don't know exact streets and numbers, but I do have to say that I always hear about the Animal clock. I would try to find that area to try to take some cool pictures! I just think it sounds like fun.

Hope you have a great day taking your e-pics :)

the Bethesda Fountain and Terrace is a great place to take pics...

here's a map that shows all the entrances into the park and the major trails.

HTH!

What about by the water-- what is it a pond? But its where all the boats row... there is a restaurant there also.

I feel like pretty much anywhere you go- there will be a nice shot!

Either of you music fans? Strawberry Fields is awesome...you can take pics by the 'Imagine' circle and the head to the boathouse area for other pics. Sheep Meadow would be cool for huge, open, grassy space with the tall buildings in the background too. And since I'm such a New Yorker (Central Park was like my backyard as a kid...I was there ALL THE TIME), I'd totally go for a pic buying big hot pretzels from a streetcart vendor. Could come out really cool, and is a total NY shot.

Yup, the Delacorte Clock - it's awesome, and if you're there on the hour or on the half-hour, you'll hear a song and see the animals twirl.

Sigh. I love the Clock.

BTW, it's near the Children's Zoo.

Most photographers know where to go in the park. Yours should have recommendations.

There's a place where there are ponds and bridges and rowboats... so cute.

Conservatory gardens up near 105th street.
Near the Metropolitan Museum at 82nd Street
The children's playgrounds can be fun.
Delacorte Clock near the Children's Zoo.
The Boat Pond.
Bethedsa Terrace and Fountain.
Belvedere Castle.
Strawberry Fields.
The Reservoir.

and the list goes on.
The photographer should know where to go.
If not, here is the official link to the park : Central Park
